Curriculum Development Center (CDC) has upgraded the syllabus of Computer Science in grades IX and X, effective from 2082/2083, respectively, in the classes. This new upgraded syllabus is designed to provide the knowledge of the latest technological era. AI, different technologies, and Programming languages are becoming popular and widely used worldwide, where we cannot imagine our lives without these latest trending technologies and tools, so to fulfill that gap, CDC has modified the curriculum of grades 9 and 10 to provide the concept of Programming language, Web Technology, Blok Programming, and database so on.
Computer Science Class 9
There are 7 chapters in the Computer Science class 9, including Computer System, Number System, Block Programming, Web Technology, Internet & Social Media, Digital Citizenship & Cyber Security, and Programming Concepts (Python). This new syllabus is introduced from 2082 BS, replacing QBASIC with Python programming.
Computer Science Class 10
There are 5 chapters in the Computer Science class 10, including Computer Network and Communication, Database Management System, Multimedia, Programming in Python, & AI and Contemporary Technologies. This new syllabus will be effective from 2083 BS, replacing QBASIC with Python Programming.
